Chinese B2B food supplier SHISHILIAN (Chinese: 时食链) received an angel round of funding of about CNY 10 million (USD 1.46 million). It was jointly invested by Hejun Capital (Chinese: 和君资本) and Pinzhi Century (Chinese: 品知世纪). The funds from this round will mainly be used for team building, market expansion, and business operations. The Beijing-based company provides one-stop food supply chain services for corporate clients. Ning Yi, the founder of SHISHILIAN believed that with integrated operations, a supplier would have a strong competitive advantage in resource integration, product portfolio, the ability to deliver contracts, and digital management. China's B2B ingredients market size exceeded CNY 2 trillion in 2021 and is expected to continue to increase in the post-pandemic era.
