According to Forbes Mexico, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy announced anti-dumping measures on September 3, imposing compensatory quotas of USD 0.54–22.50 per pair on Chinese shoes priced below USD 22.58. The policy, effective immediately, will last five years and covers sneakers, sandals, boots, and other products. It follows 35% provisional tariffs earlier and aims to protect domestic producers and stabilize employment.
