Saudi Arabia has experienced its strongest start to foreign direct investment (FDI) since 2022, with early signs indicating momentum in the country’s efforts to attract overseas capital to support its economic ambitions. According to preliminary data released by the Saudi Central Statistical Authority on Sunday, FDI inflows for the first quarter reached USD 6.4 billion, a 24% year-on-year increase, with a slight decrease compared to the previous quarter, which had seen the highest inflow in a year.
