According to South Korea’s JTBC on June 3, the vote counting for the 21st presidential election of South Korea concluded around 5:03 AM local time on June 4. Based on the results, Lee Jae-myung, the candidate from the Democratic Party, received 49.42% of the vote (17.2875 million votes), while Kim Moon-soo, the candidate from the People Power Party, garnered 41.15%, and Lee Jun-sik from the Reform Party earned 8.34%. Experts analyzed that Lee Jae-myung's victory is likely to lead to significant changes in South Korea’s domestic and foreign policies, which presents a relatively favorable opportunity for China-South Korea relations.
