The two departments answered reporters' questions on the film industry enjoying relief policies such as deferred payment of social insurance premiums

Recently, the Ministry of human resources and social security and other departments issued the notice on expanding the implementation scope of the phased deferred payment of social insurance premiums. Relevant persons in charge of the film Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the endowment insurance Department of the Ministry of human resources and social security said that there are two deferred payment policies in the notice. One is that film enterprises with difficulties in the radio, television, film and recording production industries can apply for deferred payment of the three social security unit contributions of enterprise endowment, unemployment and work-related injury, of which the deferred payment of endowment insurance premiums will be implemented until the end of 2022, and the deferred payment of work-related injury and unemployment insurance premiums will not exceed one year. Second, for small, medium-sized and micro film enterprises that do not belong to the radio, television, film and recording production industries, as well as other non enterprise film units that participate in the insurance in the form of units, if they are located in areas seriously affected by the epidemic and have temporary difficulties in production and operation, they can also apply for delaying the payment of the unit contributions of the three social security fees, which will be implemented until the end of 2022. Eligible film enterprises may voluntarily apply for deferment of social security premiums for a certain period of time, and no late payment fine shall be charged during the deferment period.
