Meituan signed a low-flying logistics agreement with Shanghai District
Meituan has signed a contract with Shanghai's Jinshan District to build the first "urban low-altitude logistics" demonstration center in China. By June 2021, Meituan unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has conducted more than 20,0000 flight tests and delivered more than 2,500 real orders. Meituan began to explore the UAV distribution scene in 2017. At present, it has initially completed the research and development of autonomous flight UAV, automatic airport, and UAV planning system, with more than 90% of the core system components being developed independently by Meituan.
