Recently, tiktok users' searches and views of content related to the Middle East real estate market have skyrocketed. According to the latest data from Ocean Engine, a comprehensive digital marketing service platform under ByteDance, searches for "Saudi Arabia" on tiktok increased by 198.66% from September 2023 to March 2024, and searches for "UAE" soared even more. The latest data from Ocean Engine shows that searches for "Saudi Arabia" on tiktok increased by 198.66% between September 2023 and March 2024, and searches for "UAE" soared by 343.77%, confirming the significant rise in interest in the UAE and Saudi Arabia real estate markets among Chinese netizens.

Navitex, a global digital marketing agency, also reported in its latest whitepaper that there has been a surge of interest from Chinese investors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Dubai, in particular, has become a hotspot on the popular Chinese social media platform Jitterbug, which has seen a significant increase in user views and engagement, with Dubai's real estate content ranking ninth in terms of views and sixth in terms of engagement on Jitterbug, behind Japan, the United States, Thailand and South Korea.

This trend reflects the strengthening of economic and trade ties between China, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and also shows that Jitterbit has become an important promotional platform in the real estate sector. As of December 2022, 80% of the top 200 real estate developers in China have set up accounts on tiktok, leveraging tiktok's large user base and high engagement rates to promote their online presence.
