According to the Bosch technical guide, 83% of the respondents around the world still strongly agree that science and technology should be based on solving the current challenges, not just meeting personal needs. More than three quarters of the global respondents believe that scientific and technological progress is crucial to coping with climate change. However, regional differences still exist in the sense of identity of the current situation of science and technology use. 83% of Chinese respondents and 77% of Indian respondents believe that technology has been fully used to solve the current problems, while this view is only recognized by 47% of American respondents, 37% of British respondents and 29% of German respondents. The survey results of Bosch technology guide show that Chinese respondents are more open to the imagination of emerging technologies and have higher acceptance. The survey shows that 87% of Chinese respondents agree with the positive impact of technology, and 83% of them agree that the progress of global technology is helping to solve the main problems faced in this era. Among them, the most critical technology that makes a positive contribution to society is artificial intelligence. At the same time, 65% of Chinese respondents believe that the lack of data security is an urgent element to be improved in the process of technological development.
