According to the central bank's questionnaire survey on urban depositors in the fourth quarter of 2020, 23.3% of the residents were inclined to "more consumption", down 0.2 percentage points from the previous quarter; 51.4% were inclined to "more savings", up 1.0 percentage points from the previous quarter; 25.3% were inclined to "more investment", down 0.8 percentage points from the previous quarter. The top three investment modes preferred by residents were "bank, securities, insurance company financial products", "fund trust products" and "stock", accounting for 47.3%, 24.9% and 17.3% respectively.
