Wantai Biological（万泰生物）said on November 2 that its nine-valent HPV vaccine, Cecolin 9（馨可宁9）, had launched in Thailand. The product was jointly developed by its subsidiary Xiamen Innovax Biotech（厦门万泰沧海生物技术有限公司）and Xiamen University（厦门大学）.

Thailand became the vaccine’s first overseas approval market after authorization by the Thai Food and Drug Administration earlier in 2026. The commercial launch follows that regulatory milestone and expands Wantai’s vaccine portfolio available in the country.
Wantai already has experience in Thailand through its bivalent HPV vaccine. Introducing the nine-valent product gives the company an additional offering as it develops relationships with local healthcare providers and distribution partners.
For vaccine manufacturers, overseas expansion requires sustained work beyond registration. Supply planning, cold-chain distribution, healthcare-provider engagement and local procurement arrangements all influence how a product reaches patients. An established market presence can support those activities, while demand for a new product must still develop.
The announcement did not disclose launch volumes, Thai pricing or procurement commitments for Cecolin 9. The next commercial indicators will be product availability, purchasing channels and repeat demand. For Wantai, Thailand provides an initial overseas market in which to establish the product’s supply and commercial performance.
