Wasion Unit Reports More Than CNY 4 Billion in Overseas Contract Awards

In a voluntary announcement, Wasion said the awards include critical infrastructure and related solutions for data centers, as well as overseas power-distribution products such as reclosers and transformers. The company’s board said the orders would strengthen its future revenue base and could positively affect 2026 operating results. The disclosed figures refer to contract awards; they do not establish how much revenue has been recognized or when the orders will be delivered.

Wasion, listed in Hong Kong under stock code 03393, supplies energy metering, power-distribution and energy-efficiency products and services. Wayon Energy’s business spans data-center products and solutions, smart grids and energy storage. The latest announcement points to a growing overseas role for its data-center and distribution businesses, while providing no customer, market or delivery breakdown for the new awards.

The orders come as data-center construction increases demand for power distribution and thermal management. Wasion’s announcement ties part of its overseas contract growth to those infrastructure needs, but does not disclose the proportion of total awards attributable to data centers or identify the projects behind them.

For Chinese energy-equipment suppliers, the awards show a route to overseas growth through systems and components supporting digital infrastructure, alongside established grid products. The scale of Wayon Energy’s contract awards is a useful indicator of international demand for its offerings. Their eventual contribution to Wasion’s results will depend on execution, delivery schedules and revenue recognition.
