Guangdong Shenling Environmental Systems Co., Ltd.（Shenling，申菱环境）signed a US$414.64 million supply agreement with an undisclosed overseas customer on September 16, according to a disclosure reported the following morning. The air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment contract, excluding tax, is equivalent to approximately CNY2.78 billion and represents a substantial addition to the Foshan-based manufacturer’s overseas business.

The agreement takes effect upon signature and specifies delivery 120 days after becoming effective. The customer will issue purchase orders according to actual demand, with settlement in US dollars. Shenling expects performance of the agreement to contribute positively to its 2027 financial results, with the eventual impact subject to audited figures.

The counterparty is identified only as “overseas Customer A.” Shenling withheld its identity and detailed commercial terms under confidentiality procedures, citing commercial secrets. The company said the customer has a good credit record and strong capacity to perform, and that the transaction involves no related-party relationship. The disclosure does not identify the destination country or the equipment’s end use.

The agreement’s value is approximately 1.6 times Shenling’s first-half 2026 revenue of CNY1.76 billion. During that period, revenue increased 4.39 percent year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders fell 64.07 percent to CNY54.05 million. The comparison illustrates the contract’s scale, although its value is not revenue already recognised.

Shenling supplies environmental control equipment for data centres, industrial processes, specialised applications and public buildings. Its overseas data-centre references include Malaysia’s MY06 project, where it supplied a modular cooling solution combining liquid and air cooling. The company also describes a Bangkok project using coolant distribution equipment and interconnected piping to support an AI computing cluster in hot, humid conditions.

Those projects demonstrate relevant overseas experience, but they do not establish that the newly announced agreement concerns a data centre or liquid-cooling equipment. The confirmed development is a large international supply commitment across Shenling’s broader cooling business.

For Chinese equipment suppliers expanding abroad, an agreement of this size makes production planning, delivery coordination and payment collection central to the commercial outcome. Shenling also flagged exposure to exchange-rate movements and changes in trade, tariff and export policies. Successful execution would provide a stronger overseas reference and support further international expansion; the immediate task is to convert the agreement and subsequent purchase orders into completed deliveries and recognised earnings.
