As the primary product for GAC's entry into the Australian pure electric market, the AION UT Premium is priced from 31,990 AUD, while the Luxury version is priced at 35,990 AUD. To reward early adopters, GAC introduced an "Early Bird" offer limited to the first 600 units, offering the Premium version for just 30,990 AUD drive-away, setting a new price floor for pure electric SUVs in Australia.

The AION UT is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm, focusing on spaciousness and a smart cockpit experience. The vehicle is equipped with a 60 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering a WLTP range of up to 430 km. It supports 87 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in just 24 minutes. To suit diverse Australian road conditions and driving preferences, GAC’s R&D team completed specific chassis tuning and right-hand drive (RHD) layout optimization to balance handling and comfort.

In addition to the AION UT, GAC (广汽集团) also showcased the GAC Motor EMZOOM (广汽传祺影速), M8 PHEV, and the mid-sized electric SUV AION V. The General Manager of GAC International stated that Australia is a core territory for GAC’s "One GAC 2.0" globalization strategy. Moving forward, GAC (广汽集团) will follow an "In Australia, For Australia" localization strategy, building a sales and service network covering the entire country, with a goal to rank among the top ten brands in local sales within five years.
