Founded in 2018, CVA Chip is a chip design company focused on computational control and intelligent perception. The company announced the successful completion of several hundred million CNY of Series B financing led by Pivot Point Investment(Chinese:支点投资), followed by Virtue Capital(Chinese:德载厚资本), Sumin Investment(Chinese:苏民投), with old shareholders Hui Capital Hong Kong(Chinese:惠友资本) and Tsinghua LH(Chinese:清华力合) continuing to provide support. The company has completed several consecutive rounds of financing in 2022, with investors including Chery(Chinese:奇瑞科技), Hui Capital, Tsinghua LH, Hony Capital(Chinese:弘毅资本) and other well-known investors. Proceeds from this round will primarily be used to continuously strengthen CVA's core technology and product matrix in automotive chips, and accelerate the implementation of multiple automotive-grade products.

CVA is a fabless semiconductor company developing sensors and edge computing chips for the mobile, IoT and automotive markets. CVA's expertise includes human-machine interface (HMI), mixed-signal design and complex system-on-chip (SOC). Current product portfolio includes proximity sensor, capacitive touch sensor, pressure sensor and smart scaler chips.

Under the general trend of vehicle electrification and intellectualization, CVA is keenly aware of the new product needs of the market. Under the general trend of vehicle electrification and intellectualization, CVA is keenly aware of the new product needs of the market. On the one hand, with the increase of chip product integration, the demand for large computing power, rich peripheral interfaces and high-speed communication interfaces by automotive companies is becoming more obvious, and CVA is accelerating its layout in this field; on the other hand, with the development of automotive electronics architecture from distributed E/E architecture to centralized E/E architecture, the market demand for edge control nodes has increased, and CVA will combine its technology accumulation in MCU and intelligent sensing and power driving fields to derive more systematized solutions.

CVA’s competitors include MakeSens(Chinese:每刻深思),Sensetime(Chinese:商汤科技) and Think Force(Chinese:熠知电子)
