The landscape of Globalization has evolved.

Enterprises that still view going GoGlobal merely as a quest for incremental markets are likely falling behind.

China’s enterprises have entered a new era of internationalization. The decisive differentiator is no longer whether to GoGlobal, but:

  • Which regional markets deserve strategic focus in the next phase?

  • Which critical stages should AI prioritize to deliver genuine differentiation?

  • Amid rationalized capital and quality-driven growth, which enterprises can thrive through economic cycles?

  • For tech startups in embodied intelligence, autonomous driving, AI hardware and related fields, how to bridge the gap from technical validation to scenario implementation, and from product demonstration to large-scale commercialization?

These questions have no universal answers, yet every GoGlobal enterprise must confront them.

In response, EqualOcean, a leading think tank for GoGlobal, will host the 2026 GoGlobal Forum of 100 (GGF2026) in Shanghai on June 11, 2026.

Under the theme “AI for Next”, the forum will serve as a pragmatic dialogue platform addressing real-world challenges. It will avoid evading new complexities of Globalizationand empty rhetoric on technological trends, balancing forward-looking insights with actionable pathways, and covering both perspectives on Globalization and practices of Globalization.

1. Why “Resilient Globalization, GoGlobal for the Future”

The theme reflects a profound shift in the core mission of China’s enterprise Globalization.

On one hand, Globalization is transitioning from pursuing incremental growth to deep operational localization. Sustained success depends not only on speed-to-market but also on operational stability, organizational synergy and long-term commitment amid regional divergence, supply chain restructuring and elevated compliance requirements. Resilient Globalization emphasizes enterprises’ capacity for sustainable operations in complex environments.

On the other hand, AI’s impact on enterprise Globalization is evolving from partial efficiency gains to systemic restructuring. It reshapes products, marketing, organizations and supply chains, extending from the digital to the physical realm. Embodied intelligence—represented by humanoid robots and autonomous driving—pushes global competition from efficiency enhancement to an integrated contest of technological capability, scenario deployment and commercialization prowess.

Accordingly, GGF2026 will explore not merely whether enterprises adopt AI, but whether AI can become the core competency of next-generation GoGlobal players. Amid market fragmentation and shifting dividends, how should enterprises rebuild their brands, organizations and local operating systems?

Resilient Globalization addresses how enterprises maintain stability and navigate cycles in a complex world. GoGlobal for the Future explores how new technologies build next-stage global competitiveness. Combined, they define the most authentic agenda for China’s enterprise Globalization in 2026.

2. GGF2026 Agenda Preview
