On May 29, the first direct passenger flight route from Shanghai to a Central Asian country (Shanghai Pudong - Chimkent, Kazakhstan) is about to be opened. This route is planned to operate two flights per week. Departing from Shanghai Pudong Airport at 02:00 Beijing Time on Tuesdays and 05:50 Beijing Time on Fridays, it will arrive at Chimkent Airport in Kazakhstan at 06:00 local time on Tuesdays and 10:00 local time on Fridays respectively. Taking off from Chimkent Airport in Kazakhstan at 15:30 local time on Mondays and 19:50 local time on Thursdays, it will arrive at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 01:00 Beijing Time on Tuesdays and 04:50 Beijing Time on Fridays respectively.
