Yesterday, two mainland fabs, SMIC international and Huahong semiconductor, announced their first quarter results. The revenues of both companies increased month on month and year-on-year, and the revenue guidelines given in the second quarter were relatively optimistic - the upward trend of month on month was maintained. SMIC adjusted its revenue forecast for the first half of this year, with revenue of about US $2.4 billion in the first half of this year, exceeding the revenue target of US $2.1 billion previously given. In the first quarter, the revenue of Huahong semiconductor hit a record high again, with the sales revenue from China reaching 219.7 million US dollars, up 76.4% year on year, accounting for 72% of the total sales revenue, up 10.6 percentage points year on year.
