The 4th Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste will explore the advancements and opportunities brought by recent initiatives towards transitioning to a low-carbon economy. Discussions will cover technology, legal frameworks, public policies, market opportunities, investment, and financing.

According to data from Brazil's Ministry of Mines and Energy, Brazil's electricity demand has nearly tripled over the last 30 years. The Northeast region in particular holds significant potential for meeting a large part of this consumption with solar and wind energy.

The forum featured approximately 25 lectures and roundtable discussions, attracting authorities and invited experts, enabling attendees to interact and debate with the audience. The forum also included several workshops and an exhibition comprising over 100 exhibitors.

The first day's events discussed topics such as "The Evolution of Distributed Generation in Northeastern Brazil," "Advances in Centralized Generation," and "The Prospects for Power Systems with a High Share of Renewable Sources." Workshops on "Using AI to Design Energy Storage Systems and Optimize their Operation," "Photovoltaic Energy for Green Hydrogen Production," and "Grounding Systems at PV Plants" were also held.

The second day's activities included a debate on "Hydrogen in Northeastern Brazil: Technology, Policies, and the Value Chain." The last session focused on "Electric Mobility: Market Perspectives and Business Opportunities."

The mission of the Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste is to expand the use of photovoltaic technologies at both regional and national levels, provide in-depth education about the PV industry, foster high-quality networking opportunities, and strengthen the local PV industry.
