The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, which officially commenced operations on October 17, 2023, has doubled its daily train services from the initial over 8,400 seats to more than 20,000.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project, jointly built by China and Indonesia, aims to connect the Indonesian capital Jakarta with the tourist destination of Bandung, reducing commuting time from over 3 hours to just 46 minutes. This convenient transportation option provides Indonesian people with a safe, environmentally friendly, efficient, and comfortable travel choice, significantly enhancing their travel experience. The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project is not only an outstanding achievement of cooperation between China and Indonesia but also a vivid example of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, demonstrating the golden symbol of cooperation between the two sides.

To ensure the safe and orderly operation of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, the Sino-Indonesian Operation and Maintenance Consortium earnestly implements the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Indonesia, adhering to the principles of consultation, joint construction, and shared benefits, and working together to promote the safe, orderly, and high-quality operation of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway.

In the future, with deeper cooperation, trade and investment cooperation will become even closer, bringing new impetus to the economic development of both countries. The development space for Chinese companies in Indonesia will also expand further, with hopes of gaining more development opportunities.
