Hangzhou Luntek Technology Co, Ltd.(Luntek, Chinese:朗迅科技), an independent third-party testing and technology development service provider for integrated circuits (IC), has completed its Series C financing round worth hundreds of millions of CNY, led by Addor Capital. The funds will be mainly used for R&D investment, production expansion and equipment procurement.

Luntek, founded in 2010, has focused on the development, production and selling of high-performance semiconductor products, embedded systems technology and new electronic products and passed the ISO9001: 2008 international quality system certification. It has engaged in IC third-party independent testing and technology development services, including SoC, storage, sensor, RF and other mid- to high-end testing services.

IC testing is an essential part of the semiconductor industry and plays a key role in cost control and quality assurance in the IC industry chain. It runs through the whole process of chip design, wafer manufacturing, chip packaging and IC application, and is the "gatekeeper" for quality control in each process.

The company has built a complete microelectronics design and application system development environment, including an industrial-level IC testing center, a high-tech enterprise R&D center and an academician workstation, and has independently developed an intelligent hardware chip and circuit testing platform. It also has self-developed MES, RTM, EAP, RMS, QMS, DCC and other systems required for production.

China's IC industry has entered the fast lane of development due to the third industrial transfer and the country's strong support, with an overall growth rate higher than the global average. However, independent third-party testing started late in China. It is expected that the development of the domestic semiconductor industry and the upgrading of chip high-end will make the specialization division of labor further refined. This will promise domestic independent third-party testers including Luntek to have a broader space for growth.

Luntek's international competitors include Marvell and AMD and domestic ones include Fortune Techgroup(Chinese:润欣科技), Acela Micro(Chinese:迅芯微电子) and Gona-semi(Chinese:果纳半导体).
