Global Intelligent Automation leader Laiye (Chinese: 来也科技) on Thursday completed its acquisition of Mindsay, a leading European enterprise chatbot and voicebot platform, to further enhance the strength of its intelligent automation products. The amount of the acquisition was not disclosed.

The acquisition will also expand the application of Laiye’s solutions and accelerate its global expansion, tech news portal Lieyunwang.com reported.

With a global presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific, Laiye now has a team of 100 employees abroad and plans to set up a new R&D hub in Paris after this acquisition.

Wang Guanchun, chairman and CEO of Laiye, said that this acquisition comes on the heels of Laiye's USD 50 million investment in the EMEA markets. It marks a significant milestone in Laiye’s journey to create the most comprehensive intelligent automation solutions, making it easier to help businesses and individuals do better and be better, he added.

“The acquisition of Mindsay gives our clients a powerful, low-code, and no-code technology to automate customer service and back-office processes. Combine that with our robotic process automation offering to streamline repetitive workflow and a conversational interface that understands human language, you will have a cutting-edge platform to digitize and automate key parts of your business,” said Ronen Lamdan, CEO of Laiye International.

Founded in 2016, Minsay has provided intelligent chatbot and voicebot services to more than 6 million customers and individuals with its strength in platform capabilities, ease of deployment, and flexible integration.

The intelligent automation market is burgeoning worldwide, and Gartner predicted that the process-agnostic software tools such as RPA, AI, IDP, Chatbots, and Process Mining will spur this market to hit nearly USD 46 billion by 2025.

This is the first overseas acquisition by Laiye Technology after the merger with Awesome Technology in 2019, according to Lieyunwang.com.
