Chinese autonomous driving firm Neolix (九识智能) has signed a commercial partnership with Singapore’s largest state-owned retail group FairPrice Group and received the country’s first commercial operating license for autonomous cargo transport. The approval makes Neolix’s driverless delivery vehicles the first legally authorized autonomous freight vehicles on Singapore’s public roads, marking a major milestone for Chinese self-driving technology entering a developed market. The partnership, witnessed by Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Enterprise Singapore, is seen as a significant step in recognizing and validating China’s autonomous logistics technology in high-standard global markets.
