Gasum, Finland's state-owned energy supplier, said on Wednesday that Russia may cut off natural gas supply to Finland this week because Moscow requires countries to pay for natural gas in rubles and Helsinki plans to join NATO. Gasum said in a statement that the company had not received any information about the matter from Russia's Gazprom export company or Russian gas suppliers, but gasum was preparing to deal with the possible situation that Moscow cut off natural gas on Friday night or Saturday.
