Intel released gaudi2, a chip focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) computing, on Tuesday (May 10) local time. The chip manufacturer will further challenge the AI chip market currently dominated by NVIDIA. Gaudi2 is the second generation AI processor of Habana labs under Intel. Its operation speed is twice that of the previous chip of Habana labs. It is manufactured by TSMC's 7 nm process instead of the previous 16 nm process.
