Imaging and Ruiyu semiconductor launched the world's first digital TV SOC with image compression function
Imaging technologies announced that the IMG B series bxe-4-32 graphics processor (GPU) with imgic image compression technology has been integrated into Realtek's latest system level chip (SOC) rtd2885n. At present, the chip has been shipped to the digital television (DTV) brand. It is understood that imgic can provide real-time image compression of various quality levels without increasing the chip area.
