On September 26, certified by the China automobile center and based on the high-frequency accident scenarios provided by the Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of public security, lantu free challenged the world's first public test of bottom collision of electric vehicles after wading. The test results of the car showed that "there was no smoke, no fire, no explosion and no water". At present, the national standard test items of new energy vehicle safety are mostly single test of single battery pack. However, in the whole journey of owning the vehicle, the three electricity system and the whole vehicle structure may bear multiple and superimposed damages. This means that in daily use scenarios, vehicles and battery packs may face multiple frequency and scene tests such as wading and collision. After wading test, the test vehicle shall continue to conduct bottom collision to further verify whether the battery pack and vehicle structure are safe after the bottom supporting accident. This is the world's first test of electric vehicle wading and bottom collision, which aims to verify the strength of the whole vehicle and electrical system through multi scene and multi frequency superposition. The wading depth of this test is 600mm, which is 6 times of the national standard. In the bottom collision test, the test vehicle bumps 210mm high obstacles at the speed of 30km / h. In this test, the lowest position of the battery pack overlaps the obstacle by at least 36mm. According to the test results released by China Automotive Research Institute on site, after the bottom collision test after wading, the battery packs of the two vehicles did not smoke, catch fire, explode or water, the electrolyte did not leak, and the physical protection also met the standard requirements, meeting the safety inspection requirements of electric vehicles.
